Like many young people in UGANDA, youths from Katakwi, Uganda face enormous challenges in finding their true vocations.

It’s Important for us to assist them in vocational guidance and talents development. There are so many Socio-economic factors influencing youth aspirations and opportunities.

Despite the challenges, there still are Cultural and societal expectations regarding career choices from the same young people

1. Challenges Faced by Katakwi      Youth 

• Limited access to education and vocational      training opportunities.
• High unemployment rates and lack of job      prospects.
• Disconnect between formal education and      real-world skills needed for employment.
