Try it for the Good of humanity, you will succeed

Wednesday 21/01/2026. Ref: 1 Sam. 17:32-33,37,40-51 Mk. 3:1-6

The readings of today invite us to trust in God with whatever we wish to achieve. We had this saying as children that the little boy who says I will climb the mountain will soon be on top of it, but the one who says this mountain is too high to climb will remain at the foot forever. David was bold , his experience as a shepherd gave him moral to try, to be bold, to dare, and the lives of his people were at stake. After all if I die trying, it is better than to die in fear. Yes and the Lord came to his aid, with just his sling and stone , he defeated the Philistines to give his people peace and prosperity. Yes God’s power behind anything however weak it may appear will prosper. Do not give up.
‎Jesus healed the withered hand man, because he looked first at the relief it brings to the man and his household, and not the comfort of the law. The good of the most deprived is the good of all, and there can’t be any force or law that should prevent us from this kind of actions. And that’s why God gave his son what to say, for everyone to see the good in what he was doing. What is the law for?
‎We need to be dicisive when it comes to liberating others because that is what gives the world the peace that we all need , it can never be achieved by any individual success or achievements.
‎May the courage of the Lord be in us all.
