Pray without ceasing

Pray always without ceasing

‎Today is mission Sunday: missionaries of hope among all people. Let us live in hope, and give hope to others.
‎The readings of today call on us to pray always, prayers give hope and sustains it. However your challenges bring them to Jesus in prayer and you receive an answer.
‎The first reading give us the example of Moses fighting with the amalekites , he instructed Joshua to go to the front while he remained with others to pray. He started well alone but later he needed the support of Aaron and Hur as he was getting tired. Solidarity in prayers give the best results. We have the vision, we work towards it and pray concurrently and the Lord will grant what ever it is that you wish to achieve. Remember God wants us to achieve together.
‎In the gospel the old lady got her demand because she insisted without ceasing, she persisted in seeking justice and finally got it. What is it that you want? Carry it to Jesus in prayer.
‎The second reading simply tells us that we should be dedicated to the message of scripture because this is what will help us gain eternal life, they will help us gain knowledge, strength, courage and determination, so we should be persistent in following scriptures even in hard times because that is what will keep us in the right path and we are able to teach and inspire others. Let us all remain steadfast in prayer, so that we can inspire others to live in joyful hope.
‎May the peace of the Lord be with you all
