Courage results in progress

‎We give thanks to God for all he gives us, and always pray to remember that all comes from him.
‎The readings of today invite us to remain strong in doing what is good. There are those who think they can force others to tow their lane, which is not the light, which is not the truth but since they feel they are the custodian of ‘truth’ or they feel they own what has to be done or they have the power to decide what should be done. Yet this is what keeps the world in torment, in suffering, it keeps the world in slavery. This is what the mother and her sons stood against, people used threats to perpetuate evil, but these people showed as today that we shouldn’t be cowards, we can’t be intimidated , because God is the source of all power and is the final decider. We are to follow God’s directive and not that of man.
‎In the gospel Jesus emphasizes the same thing that we shouldn’t be timid, we need to be active and proactive to be able to decide using the natural intuition God gave to us to make decisions that bear fruits, fear shouldn’t make us redundant.
‎If we can’t take our destiny in our hands because we fear , then we may never make any impact. The message today is calling on us all to be decisive however the consequences, as far as the intention is positive the Lord will never disappoint you.
‎May courage, strength and peace of Christ be upon us all.
