ABOUT US
Katakwi Youth Network (Kayone) is a simple Non- profit Community Based Organization which is striving to uplift the situation of underprivileged youths through skills teaching and promotion of their various talents. Care for environment is one of our priority; hence we endeavour to unite gifted youths who are giving services to the community in different parts of Katakwi to contribute in this cause. We operate in a small place which is named St. Stephen Katakwi Skilling Center at St. Stephen Church and other parts of Katakwi Town Council depending on services due to limited space.
Our History

Our Mission
To empower youth with skills in Tailoring and shoe making, sweater making, bracelets and bags making, photography and video making, embroidery, teaching basic skills in IT and leadership skills.
Our vision
Community holistic development through skilling the youth who will empower, develop and transform Katakwi community and impact the whole of Teso land and Eastern Region of Uganda.
Gaol and objectifs
-To fight poverty by enabling youth to have knowledge so that they can be self-sufficient and self-employed, To create jobs for the youth, To protect teenage pregnancies and early marriages by keeping youth busy, To empower youth with life skills, To reach out to the families and the community in order to sensitize on Human rights in general and self-employment.

Katakwi Youths Network is ready to help schools and individuals have quality sweaters to protect both children and adults from the cold. Each individual is free to command their choice and their model. Our young people are capable of putting a smile on fallen faces
