Jesus said to his disciples: “The Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised.” Luke 9:22. Jesus knew how he was to be rejected to be criticised and even to be killed. This indicates how challenging the life was. This is a challenge to all of us, whether in a religious life, or in secular life as laits. It is true without doubt that we all suffer, we all go through challenges and we all seek consolation. Just like Jesus we sometimes need consolation, or people to encourage us but the reality is not always pleasing. Despite the fact that Jesus knew all what was going to happen to him, he had no one to object the occurrence of it. The suffering of Jesus we to great, unmeasurable and incomparable. Thus, to say we go through suffering and challenges we have the opportunity to say, it is not too much and even it is not all new.
Our Life is a journey filled with trials and tribulations, obstacles that test our limits and shape us into the individuals we become. Amidst the struggles, however, lies the potential for growth, resilience, and personal triumph. Despite the fact Jesus was to be killed, he knew that after all is accomplished, he would rise again triumphant. It is therefore an opportunity everyday as we encounter challenges and new experiences, we should learn to embrace them with hope and gratitude, because, just as time pass, they come and at an instance they’ve gone. I go through challenges in the same way as you are and as a matter of fact, I want to encourage you. By sharing with you my life experiences, the challenges that I face, and how I overcame them, I hope to inspire and encourage you. We must bear this reality that, there is nothing new we are just repeating what others must have gone through in abundance.
Life is not always a smooth path, and I have learned this the hard way. From a young age, I encountered numerous failures and setbacks. Whether it was academic disappointments or personal shortcomings, each setback provided me with an opportunity to learn, grow, and redirect my efforts. I discovered that failure is not a destination, but a necessary stepping stones on the path to success. Jeus would not give up in carrying us with a heavy burden of our sins, knowing that after all he would open for us the way to salvation. His passion and death to the cross acted as a refinery bringing him out of the tomb victorious and with the glorified body. God himself showed us an example for us to follow and learn how to encounter and defeat challenges. Sometimes, our own friends lack courage to step with us in our daily struggles.
It is not new, we all go through the same sometimes, by embracing failures and accepting our mistakes we never came out the same. It is through mistakes that we learn to do good, otherwise we couldn’t know whether it is good or bad or best. Through mistakes we become good candidates of change. Keep moving forward, you are not alone in this journey.
