Many things are not put on this page due to request of induviduals who prefere having physical contacts with those interested in what we have to offer.
Fashion and design
We teach about color choices, fabric types; in doing so, we help our students to understand different types of fabrics and their properties. We help them to discover through practices fashion products and creativity

- We not only teach but also help students to create markets for their products through networking.
THE SCHOOL OF BEAUTY
We give to our students skills in cosmetics, hairstyling, skincare, and wellness. We offer hands-on training, industry knowledge, and prepares students for careers in beauty and aesthetics. We always encourage them to work in group and to support one another to build something that will last in order to not only put what they have learned into practice but also secure the market by keeping their customers close. Today’s jobs are hard to secure. Hair-dressers have to learn how to keep customers.
HAND BAGS MAKING
Making handbags for survival promotes self-sufficiency, resourcefulness, and creativity. Hence, we provide essential skills to youths who are interested; we teach them crafting and problem-solving. We offer them practical knowledge and necessary tools to make a living once a person has learned very well the skills. Handbags are mostly used by women but men also do buy from us for their ladies.
KAYONE PRODUCTIONS
Using local materials and ingredients, youths in Kayone make lotion, bar soap, liquid soap, candles, etc for financial support. As we know, smearing oils can act as moisturizers and protectants for the skin, while bar and liquid soaps are crucial for maintaining cleanliness and preventing illness by eliminating germs. Candles not only provide light in dark environments but can also serve as a heat source and signal for help. By learning to create these items from natural or readily available materials, individuals can enhance their self-sufficiency, improve their quality of life during challenging situations.
TALENTS PROMOTION - K. RECORDS
For a youth living in a village, learning music production and how to play instruments can be transformative, providing a unique outlet for creative expression and cultural connection. It enhances self-esteem and fosters a sense of community through shared musical experiences, while also developing valuable skills that could lead to future opportunities in music and related fields. Kayone gives chance to Youth to develop their talents and some of them get a living from music performances and playing instruments in different occasions. KAYONE RECORDS was founded to help local artists reach their dreams.
FAQ
When do you begin the academic year?
Students at Kayone Skilling Center receive hands-on training over periods of 3 to 6 months, focusing on practical skills and vocational education.
Do you give a startup kit after the training?
The Skilling Center does not have financial capacity to provide each student tools for startup at the end of the course. Parents are advised to let their children grow financially with others of same training through formation of associations.
Who is the owner of Kayone?
Kayone is a community based organisation aimed at empowering the youth. It operates through leadership of St. Stephen Catholic Parish and not in hands of some induvidual.
Who finances Kayone?
Kayone is solely financed by youths themselves, both educated and uneducated with and some people of good will, who want to empower youths.
Who can join Kayone
All youths are welcome to kayone, we do promote all youths without consideration of their backgrounds, education, religion, political position, gender. Kayone is home for youths.
Does Kayone accept old poeple to join?
Kayone is meant for youths but old people who want to join with purpose of learning skills are also welcome with a condition of respecting rules and discipline of the institution.
How old is Kayone?
Kayone started longtime ago when youths were still developping themselves through rearing of domestic animals but it has grown as – read the history of its foundation on welcome page.
What is the vision of Kayone
Creation of a new society where youths will be the ones to help other youths to develop and fight poverty in families.
